Apply to Educational Leadership (Ed.D.)

All tracks in the Ed.D. program provide students with a rich intellectual and theoretical background combined with applied experiences. Students are encouraged early in their specialization to identify their own interests and related job experiences on which to build a research agenda.

This 60-credit cohort model is designed to be completed in three years. Courses are delivered fully online in synchronous mode.

Graduates in all specializations will be prepared to successfully guide any educational organization in a rapidly changing world.

Specializations: PK-12 Leadership (PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility), Higher Education Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction Leadership, Instructional Technology Leadership, School Operations Leadership, Special Education Leadership, Pennsylvania Superintendent Letter of Eligibility (Credential Only)

Certificates: Post-graduate Superintendent Letter of Eligibility

Admission Terms: Fall and Spring

Length of Terms: 15 weeks (fall, spring, summer)

Modality: Online virtual (synchronous: evenings and some weekends)

Additional admission criteria: Applicants must hold a master’s degree with a minimum 3.25 GPA. K-12 superintendent applicants should also address how superintendents shape learning in school districts as part of the personal statement. Interview with the admission committee in the early spring of the anticipated start term.
