Dr. William "Pike" Stephens

Dr. William "Pike" Stephens joined Delaware Valley University in 2001 after 22 years at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. He teaches organic chemistry, advanced organic chemistry, organic analysis, and separation methods, and has developed a molecular modeling laboratory for use in various chemistry courses.
He is an active member of the University community, having served on the Curriculum (co-chair), Core Curriculum and New Faculty Orientation committees. He has also served on the Faculty Council and currently serves on the Promotion and Tenure Committee. He was instrumental in the reactivation of the Student Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemistry Society and was selected Advisor of the Year for 2004 to 2005.
Dr. Stephens is also active with the Central Bucks School District, offering week-long summer workshops in chemistry for juniors and seniors in the district. He received the Harleysville National Bank and Trust Company Great Professorship Award in 2004.
