To our students, faculty, staff and visitors: Your wellbeing is always first and foremost in our minds. We know that while unlikely, there are things that can happen on a college campus, including severe weather, fires and other potentially dangerous situations. While we are fortunate that our campus is located in a low crime area, we know that the best way to prepare for unexpected events is to be familiar with what we can do individually and as a community to be ready to respond.

Starting Monday, 8/28/23, you will be automatically enrolled in AggieAlert and we encourage you to stay enrolled. AggieAlert is DelVal's text-based emergency alert system. This is the best way for you to receive timely information in the event of lightening, a tornado, or any potentially harmful situation. You have the right to opt-out at your discretion, but again, we strongly recommend that you stay enrolled in the AggieAlert system.
There will be an AggieAlert test on Monday, August 28, at 1 p.m. during Emergency Preparedness Week. If you do not receive the AggieAlert test text on that day, please email prepare@delval.edu with your name, email address and cell phone number.
