Dr. Jacob Chambers received his Ph.D. in microbiology from Southern Illinois University where he explored the role of small RNAs on the pathogenicity of the causative agent of tularemia. He spent several years as a postdoctoral fellow researching how biofilm formation impacts bacterial susceptibility to antibiotics before becoming a lecturer at the University at Buffalo in New York State. At Delaware Valley University, Dr. Chambers teaches a wide range of courses including microbiology and virology
