Dr. Jacob Chambers
Dr. Jacob Chambers has a B.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he studied small RNAs in Francisella tularensis. This was followed by post-doctoral studies at Binghamton University in New York where Dr. Chambers explored the relationship between biofilm formation and antibiotic resistance in the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. He left Binghamton to become a lecturer at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) where he taught microbiology and immunology to both graduate and undergraduate students before joining the faculty at Delaware Valley University in 2023.
