Dr. Kyle Brouwer, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Developmental and Learning Sciences and his M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Prior to joining Delaware Valley University, he served as a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Dakota. While there, he held several leadership roles, including President of the South Dakota Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and co-founded the Graduate Student Success Series (GS3), a university-wide professional development initiative for graduate students.

Dr. Brouwer is a researcher, educator, and clinician whose professional interests include clinical education, student success, and integrating counseling-informed approaches into speech-language pathology. He is an active member of ASHA’s Special Interest Group 20: Counseling. At Delaware Valley University, he teaches graduate courses in clinical writing, child language disorders, aural rehabilitation, counseling, practicum, and internship.
