Laura Lenkey

Laura Lenkey arrived at DelVal after 40 years in clinical service as a Speech-Language Pathologist. To give back to the profession, she renewed her passion for teaching and decided to join our faculty as a way to share her wealth of experiences. She aims to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate the application of knowledge-based competency to clinical skills with real patients in real-time. She presented her model for experiential learning at state conferences and national conventions and is excited at the opportunity to have a hand in developing the new Speech-Language Pathology graduate program at DelVal. Lenkey’s 40-year career in treating patients and running a private practice has provided her with the ability to teach theory in the classroom and apply it in real-time in a supportive environment.
