Meal Plans
We offer a 7-Day Unlimited Meal Plan required for all Residential students as well as Block Meal Plans for part-time and commuter students. See our current rates. Students register for a meal plan via the Student Housing Portal.
Flex dollars, or “dining dollars,” are included with every Meal Plan. Flex can be used at Levin for guest meals, and also at Starbucks and the Pub for in-store purchases and on Transact mobile ordering. Flex expires at the end of each semester and unused flex cannot be carried over.
We have increased take-out standards with our reusable green to-go containers, in case you can't make it to the Dining Hall for a sit-down meal and need a meal on the go.
MEAL PLAN OPTIONS
Our unlimited meal plan allows you to access Levin Dining Hall as many times as you want on the days that you have access. Need a drink before class, a quick mid-afternoon snack, or a study break? All included.
Starbucks is included in the 7-Day standard plan only. If a student has chosen the 7-Day discount meal plan, Starbucks is not included in the meal plan.
RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A 7-DAY UNLIMITED PLAN WHILE LIVING ON CAMPUS.
Meal Equivalency: We’re adding a new option for students with meal plans at The Pub!
We’re adding a new option that will offer the flexibility to use The Pub for meal equivalency! Parkhurst is adding Meal Equivalency to The Pub sometime this fall! This is a new concept we’ll be trying out and we’re excited to see if it will be a permanent fit for our Aggies. Think of Meal Equivalency as a daily, $8.00 “credit” that will be applied to your Student Meal Plan account from the hours of 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. through either an online mobile order at The Pub or an in-person purchase at the market. Any amount exceeding the $8.00 Meal Equivalency can be paid for with a second tender. For example: if your meal total is $9.25, the $8.00 Meal Equivalency will be applied and the remaining $1.25 can be paid for with Flex, RAM, credit card, or cash for in-store purchases. We will also have the option available on mobile ordering during the allotted hours, but payment options will be MP, flex, or ram (no credit cards).

Dollars are ‘Dining Dollars’ that are included with every purchased Meal Plan. Flex can be used at:
- Levin for guest meals
- Levin Starbucks and The Pub for in-store purchases and on Transact Mobile Ordering (RAM or Flex only!)
Flex is a non-reloadable amount that is purchased with a Meal Plan. Students who run out of Flex can opt to purchase RAM Dollars through the Office of the Bursar.
Simply complete the form found on myDelVal > DVU App Hub > Etreive > Forms > RAM Dollars Application.
- Ask the cashier at Levin, Starbucks, or Pub and they will give you a receipt with your balance.
- Transact E-Accounts
Unused Meal Swipes and Flex expire at the end of each semester and cannot be carried over.
All meal plan requests, changes, and cancellations must be requested through the Student Housing Portal by the end of the add/drop period each term. See important dates here. No meal plan additions, cancellations, or changes will be permitted after the deadline.
Commuters can also opt to purchase RAM Dollars for use in dining locations using a credit card or student account credit balance. Simply complete the form found on myDelVal > DVU App Hub > RAM Dollars. Contact the Bursar’s office for assistance.

Get Started
- Search your favorite app store for “Transact mobile ordering” and download.
- Upon opening the app, choose ‘Delaware Valley University’ as your campus.
- Pick the app icon and then log in with your campus ID and password.
- PLACE AN ORDER:
- Open the app and choose a location
- Choose the date and time you want to pick-up your order
- Customize your order from our menu of meals, sides, snacks, and drinks
- Before you tap ‘Pay’ choose from:
- Campus Card:
- Cash Equivalency (Meal Plan Swipe)
- Flex Dollars (Dining Dollars included with your meal plan)
- RAM Dollars
- Campus Card:
- To use your meal plan, you will need to pick ‘Cash Equivalency’ to use a meal swipe (if your order exceeds the allotted amount you will need a second tender) to use Flex Dollars or RAM Dollars to complete your transaction.
- Your order will be custom-prepared and packaged for you to pick-up at the designated mobile order shelves. The Pub is located inside the student center.
FAQ's
- Can I use mobile ordering if I don't have a meal plan?
- If you don’t have a meal plan or the included Flex Dollars, you can pay with campus RAM Dollars. These can be loaded by a dining cashier, the Bursar’s office, or online through the eAccounts portal.
- How do I know when my order is ready?
- For ASAP orders, the Transact mobile app will provide an estimated pick-up time based on order volume. Once an order is packaged and placed on the shelves, the app will indicate that it’s been completed and is waiting!
- Can I place an order to pick up later?
- Yes! To place an order to be picked up at a later time, change ASAP to a later time at the top of the menu screen. Choose your items, and check out as normal. You can check your order status in the Transact App and you will get notified when your order is ready.
- What is available at the Pub?
- In addition to mobile ordering options, there is also a market with snacks, drinks and small to-go meals.
