Delaware Valley University to host spring concerts

Delaware Valley University is pleased to announce the final two concerts of its academic year, featuring the University’s Chorale, Jazz Band and Symphonic Band.

The concerts are scheduled for April 17 at 3:00 p.m. and May 1 at 7:00 p.m. Both concerts will be held in the Delaware Valley University Life Sciences Building auditorium and are open to the public. There is no charge for admission.

The concert on April 17, which will feature the University's Chorale and Jazz Band, will offer: a variety of gospel-style songs, folks songs from Latin America and contemporary  songs, as well as traditional and contemporary jazz standards.

The concert on May 1 will include works by leading contemporary composers for winds and percussion including: Vincent Persichetti, Michael Markowski, Julie Giroux and Brian Balmages.
