First Annual Delaware Valley University Juried Student Photography Exhibition

Delaware Valley University will present its First Annual Juried Student Photography Exhibition this spring. There will be an opening celebration and awards ceremony for the exhibit, which will feature work from the University’s students, on Thursday, April 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building. The event opening and exhibit are open to the public at no cost. Guests do not need to register in advance. The display will be available to view on the second floor of the atrium in the University’s Life Sciences Building through June 25. 

“The photography show is part of a greater effort to include more art on campus,” said Douglas McCambridge, a DelVal media and communication instructor. “Our students are producing high-quality work in our photography classes and we’re pleased to be able to share this work with an annual event that will enrich the local community.”

Henry Rowan, an award-winning Bucks County-based photographer and executive director of the Pennsylvania Center for Photography and Kimberly Witham, an associate professor at Bucks County Community College, will serve as judges for the competition. First, second and third prizes will be awarded at the opening. 

Attend the Opening/View the Exhibit: Guests do not need to register in advance to attend the opening or, to view the exhibit. There is no cost to attend. The opening and awards ceremony will be held Thursday, April 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building. Afterward, the display will be available to view on the second floor of the Life Sciences Building atrium through June 25.
