Designed for individuals seeking academic experience in environmental studies/science, DelVal's Environmental Studies certificate introduces students to the areas of ecology, soils, watershed management, regional land use and planning, and more. These courses will expand a student's knowledge of our (human) relationship and impact on our environment. The knowledge gained in this program will increase and improve the student's career opportunities in the fields of environmental planning, resource management; engineering; law, or public policy. Completing college-level courses in chemistry, biology, and mathematics before enrolling in the program is strongly recommended.
