SERVICE IS DOING. DOING IS LEARNING.
Learning by doing has been at the heart of a DelVal education from the very beginning. That's why we're committed to encouraging our students to engage their communities through hands-on service activities.
HOW DELVAL DOES SERVICE
- Clubs and Organizations
- Several DelVal student clubs have partnered with local and national service organizations engaged in building affordable housing, rescuing animals, educating kids and more.
- Class Projects
- Some DelVal professors create opportunities for students to put to work knowledge earned in their classrooms in service projects.
- Community Partners
- DelVal's strong and growing connections with diverse service providers in the region create innumerable service and internship possibilities.
- Individual Initiative
- Year after year, we are inspired by, and fully support, enterprising DelVal students whose passions lead them to develop service projects of their own.
