Mission statement:
Student Development and Accessibility Services fosters a supportive environment that promotes student growth and their ability to advocate for individualized needs. Serving in a student advocacy role, we hear student concerns related to factors impacting their success and make appropriate referrals, as well as assist students and others with understanding the University’s policies and procedures while exploring options and weighing the consequences of decisions. Through partnering with Student Development and Accessibility Services, students will receive individualized support, build connections with campus resources, access the learning environment in order to cultivate their academic success, and make choices that best support their experience to persist and thrive in our community.
Vision statement:
Thriving students maintain a positive perspective as they engage in learning beyond the classroom, actively strive to complete graduation requirements, acknowledge the importance of diverse points of view, and build healthy relationships.
