Keepers of the Way - An Event Overview

"I had the privilege of attending an event presented by the Graduate Psychology Speaker’s Series and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion centered around a short documentary about Pennsylvania’s Lenape Nation, “Keepers of the Way.” The evening included a screening of the “Keepers of the Way” documentary and a panel discussion and Q&A with the director, producer, and the Lenape tribal members of the film."

Bill Fritz, Chair of the Department of Animal Science at Delaware Valley University (DelVal), attended an Advanced Shearing School at Cornell. Following the opportunity, Dr. Fritz was featured in an article by the American Sheep Industry’s (ASI) News Magazine, which included details about how his experience at Cornell will help him teach his students the basics of shearing.

Conservation and wildlife management alumnus, Jacob Miranda ’21, is currently a graduate biology student and graduate assistant at Arkansas State University. Miranda says, “DelVal gave me excellent opportunities to succeed, but I was the one who had to take advantage of those opportunities.”
